Twelve new acts for Download 2009

Classic rockers Journey, now with singer Arnel Pineda, will make their Download debut, joined by Tesla.

Also added to the bill are Italian goth-rockers Lacuna Coil, souther-style rockers Black Stone Cherry, Clutch, Architect, Karma To Burn and Parkway Drive.

It has now been confirmed that Faith No More’s Download appearance at Donington will be their first live performance since reuniting.

This year’s lineup also includes Whitesnake, Mötley Crüe, Korn, Pendulum, The Prodigy, Devildriver, DragonForce, Anvil, Marylin Manson, ZZ Top, Billy Talent, Dream Theater, The Blackout and Buckcherry, with many more still to be announced.
