For the record, Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’ peaked at No. 9 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in 1981, combining an iconic opening keyboard riff with Steve Perry’s hope-filled vocal and Neal Schon’s wailing guitar.

But in the past five years, several major league clubs have ensured that this song will never end; in fact, it goes on and on and on and on…

In 2005, the Chicago White Sox adopted it as their anthem, playing it after victories all the way through their World Series celebration. Strangely enough, A.J. Pierzynski and Joe Crede seem to belt it out with far greater ease than Perry in this video.
