BUOYED BY the success of its 2008 album “Revelation,” which went platinum (1 million copies sold), American pop-rock band Journey is due to record a new disc next week in San Francisco. “We’re entering the studio on April 19 and will finish by June 3. We’re coming up with a more diverse lineup of songs,” the band’s Filipino lead singer Arnel Pineda told the Inquirer before leaving Manila on Sunday. Journey’s most recent release, “Live in Manila,” a 2-DVD set of its March 2009 concert at the Mall of Asia, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Music Video
